"It should be noted that any effort to restrict gun ownership in the U.S. will not stop Mexican cartels from acquiring guns and ammunition from other countries," McCain said. He added that cartels are already getting grenades and other weapons from other countries.
Republican National Committee Chairman Michael Steele said Democrats are using violence reported in the news to frighten the public and push proposals _ such as a revival of the expired assault weapons ban _ that would restrict the gun rights of law-abiding people.
"In February, President Obama's administration concocted a crazy theory that crime in Mexico could and should be prevented by banning guns in America," Steele said.
That's the problem with Democrats....and Mexicans who are usually Democrats because they think liberty and religious freedom as defined in the Constitution and 1st Amendment is the devil at large. Sure the argument can be made underneath it all Mexicans are as pale and vulnerable as the next man yet still they don't want you around if you're white as bare bones. Even second and third generation Mexican-hyphen-Americans worship commercialized stereotypes before work ethic. If you want to be a Christian you can't keep Mexicans around for slave labor for very long before the community goes to hell.
