Charlie Foxtrot

WASHINGTON -- The U.S. Senate will take up Judge Sonia Sotomayor's confirmation as the first Latina justice on the U.S. Supreme Court on Tuesday, the chamber's Democratic leader said Thursday.

But given the advancing age of some of the other justices, Obama appears likely to have the chance to fill another vacancy, leaving his imprint on the bench possibly for decades.

Sotomayor is a member of La Raza, and her comments about “wise Latinas” being superior to white men appeared in the La Raza Law Journal. The National Council of La Raza bills itself as “the largest national Hispanic civil rights and advocacy organization in the United States.” It works through “its network of nearly 300 affiliated community-based organizations.”

Among these affiliates are several chapters of the Movimiento Estudiantil Chicano de Aztlán (Chicano Student Movement of Aztlán), which La Raza helps fund. Aztlán is what radical “Mechistas” — as they refer to themselves on La Raza’s Web site — call the American Southwest, which they claim still belongs to Mexico.

Violence if Necessary

A federal grand jury in Sacramento has indicted 21 Mexican and American citizens on charges of smuggling at least 440 pounds of heroin grown in the state of Michoacan, Mexico, through Tijuana to Modesto, in California's Central Valley.
Recent large heroin seizures show a resurgence of the drug in California unseen since the early 1970s, law enforcement officials said Thursday.

"A secessionist movement is not something that you can put away and say it is never going to happen in the United States. Time and history change."

"Que viva la causa!
And power is not given to you -- you have to take it."

"Osama Bin Laden Rules... Zarqawi the Gringo Killer... Yes! Yes!"
"This is our country... Go back to Europe..."
"Go back to England... Go home gringo!"
"Too bad Osama Bin Laden didn't have a hydrogen bomb to drop on that Jewish shit hole called Manhattan..."

I can't add anything else to this except be hopeful that the Gov's welfare cuts will make these Mexicans go home and kill their own race.

The Lid on this Can of Fangs

With the Senate already planning to leave for its recess without voting, Obama’s chief of staff, Rahm Emanuel, went to Capitol Hill to meet with House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, Majority Leader Steny Hoyer and members of the so-called Blue Dog coalition of Democrats, who object to the cost and structure of the legislation.

The House would only stay in session a few days after the start of the August break if an agreement can be reached to allow the bill to clear the Energy and Commerce Committee, where the Blue Dogs are holding up the legislation, Hoyer said earlier.

Terminate the Poor

Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger signed a revised $85 billion budget Tuesday that he said contained "the good, the bad and the ugly,"

"Those are ugly cuts and I'm the only one that is really responsible for those cuts because the Legislature left, they didn't want to make those cuts," he said after signing the budget in his office.

ObAmA iS a RaCiSt BiTcH

Fox News Channel commentator Glenn Beck said he believes President Barack Obama is a racist. Beck made the statement during a guest appearance Tuesday on the "Fox & Friends" morning show. He said Obama has exposed himself as a person with "a deep-seated hatred for white people or the white culture."

Fighter Frack

From the Navy’s public statements, O’Rourke calculated the number at anywhere between 125 and 243 aircraft, although some in industry contend it’s 300 or more. The peak of this shortfall is projected to occur around 2015; the Navy contends a shortage of strike-fighters could reduce the number of available carriers from 11 to seven around that time.

F-18's are simply not made to be around that long.

DEAR GOD NO!!!!!

When it's done, a $33 million wastewater treatment plant expansion will allow Delano to accommodate more than 80,000 people.

NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO........!

Thankfully those stimulus funds are only a vague line of credit straight from China and will not actually exist as real money. Meaning we can kick the hell out of China when they come to collect and throw out any representative who votes to use stimulus credit.

Sunday, about 100 people rallied in front of the mall to support Spivack and his right to free speech. He opened his Free Market Warrior kiosk last spring, selling such items as “Impeach Obama” bumper stickers and baby bibs that say, “My parents chose life. Thanks Mom and Dad!”

JERUSALEM – President Obama's policies against Jewish construction in eastern Jerusalem and the strategic West Bank were slammed as "racist" today by participants in a rally drawing about 2,000 Israelis in front of the U.S. consulate in Jerusalem.

Calling on Israel to simply say "no" to US pressure to freeze settlement activity and to divide the capital, close to a thousand people rallied outside Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu's Jerusalem home Monday evening.

Hang the King

Cop Tells Obama: I Didn't Vote for You and Won't Apologize
President Barack Obama set off a racial firestorm Thursday with his comments describing a much-lauded police officer’s actions as “stupid” after the arrest of the president’s friend, the scholar Henry Louis Gates. The comments demoralized the Cambridge police department but Sgt. James Crowley rose above the controversy and suggested that Obama should examine the facts before offering opinions.

Finally, Limbaugh pointed out that Obama, much like Gates, is hardly a victim. Both men are at the pinnacle of an elite establishment in the United States.

Escalation in Mexico Drug War

Ten Mexican police officers have been detained in connection with the torture and murder of 12 federal agents during a major escalation in the drug war.

It's not a 'war' in the classic sense of engagement because there are no rules to justify treatment of prisoners. The only warfare taking place is what turf wars the Mexican military allows cartels to wage against Mexican citizens because political agencies are either unequipped or on payroll. I would call this Mexican situation part of the War on Terror and send National Guard to defend the border then nuke the hell out of those cartel bases.

But no, pop culture says these are poor victims of American imperialism and you best claim de mafias because if you don't Christians are fools waiting to die like de dirty prey dogs.

The 'Cap And Tax' Dead End

By Sarah Palin
Tuesday, July 14, 2009

There is no shortage of threats to our economy. America's unemployment rate recently hit its highest mark in more than 25 years and is expected to continue climbing. Worries are widespread that even when the economy finally rebounds, the recovery won't bring jobs. Our nation's debt is unsustainable, and the federal government's reach into the private sector is unprecedented.

We have an important choice to make. Do we want to control our energy supply and its environmental impact? Or, do we want to outsource it to China, Russia and Saudi Arabia? Make no mistake: President Obama's plan will result in the latter.

Pssst...let it dry up then dismantle the whole thing after 012....

Warmongering at Daily Kos

Overall, thirty two percent of active-duty military personnel smoke, compared with 20 percent of the U.S. population in general. Because of that, there's a movement afoot inside the Pentagon to ban the use of tobacco because it's killed so many of our troops. I have another suggestion: let's invade and conquer the facilities of RJ Reynolds. After all, their WMDs have cost us more in lives and treasure than Saddam ever did. Plus Saddam didn’t recruit kids with a cartoon camel that thought he was cool but was actually a dick.

That's the worst thing you'll hear about Saddam from the left. I got a better idea, why not bomb Daily Kos?

Sotomayor Pro-Choice Background

(CNSNews.com) – The right to an abortion is not different than any other “fundamental right,” according to a legal brief issued by the Puerto Rican Legal Defense and Education Fund (PRLDEF), in a case regarding Missouri state funding restrictions on abortion from 1988 when attorney Sonia Sotomayor was a member of the group’s governing board.

If Sotomayor is this bad how can she be denied SCOTUS appointment? Isn't that the theme for this administration to punish white people for being racist as quickly as possible before they notice? For whatever reason will Sotomayer ever be rejected by Democrats on their short bus to tyranny? Still there's nothing in the Bible that says you have to listen to these people and live the way they tell you to.

"The right to abortion is no less vulnerable to hatred, intolerance, prejudice and misunderstanding than any other fundamental right. Only strict scrutiny of all forms of interference can guarantee that necessary burdens on the right to choose abortion are distinguished from superfluous or obstructionist ones,” the brief added.

Wow I must be totally racist to choose pro-life and not condemn the unborn children of political opponents. How dare conservatives vote against Democrats who torment their sons, woe to the accursed white man's voting block may they all rot in hell. By god, not while Puerto Ricans, the heirs to the Aztec Empire stand tall as rulers over their Hispanic brethren.

Avast Ye Scurvy Dogs!

Sarah Palin allows access to conservatism to everyone, not just the fat cat cigar-chomping inside the beltway rich hardass racist carpetbagger. That image is reasserted to the Democratic standard as it should be. And that's why the left will lose their power as long as Sarah Palin and her family are around.

Sonia Sotomayor will begin her confirmation hearings next week with some of the highest levels of public opposition of any Supreme Court nominee in the last two decades, according to a new poll by the CNN and the Opinion Research Corporation.

With Sotomayor in our sights let fly Jolly Roger, now me hearties the waves have crested, now we shall turn the tide united against tyranny and hang a truly deserving radical animal, yaaarrrr....

Nazi Zombies!

(CNSNews.com) – More than 100 agents of the federal Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF) have been visiting the houses of gun purchasers in Houston, Texas. But the federal agency won’t say if agents are using warrants to do so.

Less Than 24 Percent of Guns Seized by Mexican Authorities in 2008 Were Traced Back to U.S.

Choke on 'em!

GENEVA -- American demand for handguns has fueled a 28 percent jump this decade in world exports of pistols, rifles, shotguns and other small arms, a global report said Thursday.

Welfare Cuts Angers Dems

SACRAMENTO, Calif. -- Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger's insistence on cost-cutting measures to weed out what he has described as "waste, fraud and abuse" in California's social service programs has struck a nerve with Democrats, welfare advocates and the frail.

They say the Republican governor is using the poor as a scapegoat for the state's $26.3 billion budget shortfall. They also fear his proposals, if approved by the Legislature, would trigger increased unemployment and homelessness, and force thousands of people from their homes into expensive nursing facilities.

Budget Battle Devolves Into Food Fight

"The governor is not against condiments. The governor's not against fruits of any kind," said spokesman Aaron McLear. "But he believes we ought to be focused on solving our budget crisis first and foremost."

Fine people hang us out to dry then lulz. Lodge an official protest by playing both videos at the same time.

Keep the Change, Hang the King

Here we stand, two hundred and thirty three years later, working to maintain what they fought for. Somewhere along the way, we fell into a trap. Things started getting hard, and we turned to the government to fix our problems. We lost sight of liberty, and traded it for the ever-expanding safety net that is our government.

"This will not be defeated unless we do the legwork. Consider this your kick in the butt right now. If you sit back and let the wrong people get elected, you lose your right to complain. Period."

Don't Be a Sitting Duck II: Done Sumthin Right

Juneau, Alaska (AP) - The National Society of Newspaper Columnists chose Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin as the winner of its annual Sitting Duck Award, a tongue-in-cheek honor that pokes fun at the most ridiculed newsmakers in the United States.

Blagojevich was the runner-up. Palin was noted for making headline after headline, month after month.

Don't Be a Sitting Duck

Among other things, the agents are combing neighborhoods and asking people about suspicious purchases as well as seeking explanations as to how their guns ended up used in murders, kidnappings and other crimes in Mexico.

“Ever turning up the heat on cartels, our law enforcement and military partners in the government of Mexico have been working more closely with the ATF by sharing information and intelligence,” Melson said Tuesday during a firearms-trafficking summit in New Mexico.
