Return to Frogtown

SACRAMENTO, Calif. (AP) — The California Senate approved creating a government-run health care system for the nation's most populous state on Thursday, ignoring a veto threat from Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger.

Put yourself in the emperor’s sandals. What do you do with such people? You persecute them. You don’t want to. You wonder, “Why can’t we all just get along?” But you also know that if you allow the Christians’ divisive message to continue, it won’t be long till the fragile fabric of your multicultural empire will be destroyed. So for the sake of your kingdom, the Christians must go.

Oh My Brotha! Testify!

Captain America #602 is the most biased politically schizophrenic comic I've ever read. It's a Fabian era pamphlet that we're supposed to consume without question. Here they have Tea Party Patriots and the entire conservative movement misrepresented as a cop-killing (ultimately anti-Zionist if you apply real-world logic) anti-government militia. Conservative patriots are pro-Constitution which demands strictly limited small government primarily concerned with the civil defense of those who protect their right to vote with Free Speech and the Second Amendment as backup. Why do we have to put up with Obama's multicultural nonsense?

All Your Base

When you lose multicultural advocates you know you've lost the battle to shore up your support for Net Neutrality.

The FCC is going to miss its deadline -- because it's preoccupied with refereeing the competing interests of corporations and the nastiness of the Net Neutrality fight.

The FCC is playing a dangerous game here, and the people who have the most to lose are already the socially and economically disenfranchised members of our national community - low-income, rural, urban, non-English speaking, tribal, minority, underserved and underserved populations.

Congress and the President have charged the FCC with developing a National Broadband Plan to ensure that every American has access to open and robust broadband.

Ruling against FCC
You can’t get an unbridled, roving commission to go about doing good,” said Chief Judge David Sentelle of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the District of Columbia Circuit, suggesting that the agency’s “Internet Policy Statement” is “aspirational, not operational.”

The Comcast ruling shows the FCC has no ability to enforce their delusions of grandeur no matter how many speeches they hurl down the bureaucratic trench. Without additional public support Net Neutrality will eventually evaporate.

How to Deal with Terrorists

If we're supposed to regard Democrats' antics as artful escapism why then, after their schemes are turned back on them do they scream bloody murder?

In Obama's favor: More than half of people, 54 percent, approve of his handling of terrorism, the poll found. That's a higher rating than Obama gets for his handling of the economy, health care, Iraq, the budget deficit or taxes.
Yet Republicans traditionally claim security as a political strong suit, and recent events have not helped the party in power.

Intel Head Should Be Told Before Arrests
The FBI was following standard procedure, but Democratic Sen. Dianne Feinstein and Republican Sen. Christopher Bond said Thursday that the Christmas Day airline bomb suspect might have yielded more intelligence if he had been treated as an enemy combatant rather than as a criminal.

FCC Flooded with Comments Opposing Internet Regulation But Left Claims Victory Anyway
It is still hard to understand why we need to regulate something that has been the most successful economic, informational and organizational tool of the past two decades. But no matter. On Thursday, the FCC’s comment period closed and the verdict is in. Limited government and free market activists crushed big government fans on the Left.

Daily Kos Claims Rush Limbaugh Called for Violent Revolution, Harming Obama

Rush: "This government is governing against its own citizens. This president and his party are governing against us. We are at war with our own President, we are at war with our own government. They’re the ones standing in the way of the private sector rebounding. They’re the ones standing in the way of job creation – purposely!"

Kos: "According to US Constitution, didn't Limbaugh just commit treason against the US ? The Constitution of the United States, Art. III, defines treason against the United States to consist only in levying war against them, or in adhering to their enemies, giving them aid or comfort. This offence is punished with death. By the same article of the Constitution, no person shall be convicted of treason, unless on the testimony of two witnesses to the same overt act, or on confession in open court."

If somebody has to die for treason why can't it be Nidal Malik Hasan?

Greatly Exaggerated

A number of posts on the left-wing site Daily Kos spewed venom against Limbaugh, with offerings such as:

“If he gets well, so be it. If he gets worse, be it paralyzed, comatose, or dead, he’s earned it.”

“I hope he dies and I’m glad he’s sick.”

“I’ll never apologize for hating Rush. Or wishing death and illness on him.”

A post on redstates.com read: “Dear Heavenly Father, Jesus, please take Rush Limbaugh for the sake of the country.”

And this vile offering appeared on TMZ.com: “Oh, please let him die! Preferably quickly and very painfully.”

Any doubt of what we're dealing with yet?

Ironically, soon after reports of Limbaugh’s hospitalization circulated, word surfaced that another vacationing conservative media voice had died — Glenn Beck.

Rush, it’s good to hear you are well.
It’s a helluva way to start the new year.
