The Kern County Sheriff's department focused on a very active northern county street gang. Investigators say those gang members were responsible for drug activity, threats against sheriff's deputies, conspiracy to commit murder and involvement in a grand theft auto ring.
The gang is also alleged to have made threats to kill Kern County Sheriff's deputies.
By “very active” that means without law enforcement in the area. That theft ring has been profitable for over 5 years but never hit the radar until now. Should California audit private insurance or what? Where's that last gangbanger? This town is waaay too small to deal with big city problems. At least it should be, but the culture is like a Los Angeles ghetto.
